I hope this isn't crossing boundaries here, but I am wondering how people who have modded XBoxes and Macs are doing . . . I know there's a lot of dependence on retrieving material from the internet in a readable manner to be burnt on a CD and then loaded into the xBox. I'm just wondering if anybody with a Mac alone has done this.

Plus, is there a reliable (non-commercial) xBox modding information site?

Well as long as you're burning images you should be fine

Even an ISO burn should work.. finder can do that directly.. I've used disk copy to make backups of my windows disks and my PCs boot.. and I've even installed, off those disks
In a realm beyond site, the sky shines gold, not blue, there the Triforce's might makes mortal dreams come true.

http://www.xbox-scene.com/

I haven't modified my xbox yet, but I'm planning to do so when I have some time. This site has some great info on the process. Also, if you click on the "tutorials" section there is an OS X tutorial buried somewhere in that page. You just might have to use the find command to see it.
