I am glad to see that the dock connection is grounded. One of the worries I had after reading the stories on macintouch was a dead FW port from hot swapping a lot. I don't think the old iPods had any grounding at all.
I'm really impressed with the battery too. The size of the new versus the old and only losing roughly about 2 hours of playtime. That's not bad at all for the size.
