As the subject says, I am going to put my iTunes music onto a 120GB LaCie Firewire HD that I have on order. My music folder is too big for my 700Mhz iBook and it's 20 GB HD. Now this all seemed like a good idea until the obvious occured to me. How will I sync my iPod if the LaCie HD is taking up the one firewire port on my iBook. If I plug out the HD then I will not be able to access the music!! Doh!

What can I do? Is there such a thing as a firwire hub or something?
Any suggestions appreciated!
Thanks

Most firewire drives have two firewire ports, you should be able to connect your iPod directly to your firewire drive, it should work just fine although I'm not sure if you can charge your iPod when it's connected to the drive...
