hey i no this is a mac place but i have an old pentium 2 here that my brother took apart and just left..

i have managed to put it together to work but cant install anything on it i has been formatted and wont read the win 95 cd it seems to want floppies does anyone have any ideas to get it working or should i mod it into a mac

i don't know how you would mod it into a mac, but to get it to boot off the CD you need to go into BIOS when it starts and find the boot order list and change the first one to CD. then reboot with the CD in and see if it boots off the CD. Windows 95 may need a boot disk to start, though, in which case the above won't work and you need to find a windows boot disk to install.

it is prolly too old to boot to the cd..

there is a site thot should help you make a boot floppy then you boot to it and select with cd rom support and then run setup.. should be all you need...
