I have a TiBook 667 Combo with a 30GB drive. This is really not enough space. I am looking for an external unit (preferrably portable).

I am thinking I want 80GB, maybe 120GB.

What are the best brands - esp. for compatibility with OS X 10.2.

Thanks,

Trygve

I don't have a brand recommendation but you can get a 2.5" drive mechanism in a firewire case and you won't need any external power -- the PowerBook will power the drive from the firewire cable. Very cool. There are a bunch of 2.5" drives to choose from. Almost all firewire vendors offer them.
