I just came back from the gym where the strangest thing happened. 20 Gig iPod froze right in the middle of a song. The screen is frozen and I can't turn it off, etc.

Is there anything I can do prior to getting home tonight and performing a restore, etc. SOmething like a soft reset, etc?

This is the first time anything like this has happened to my iPod.

To reset your iPod (to unfreeze it, this doesn't erase your music), hold down the menu and play buttons for 5 seconds, until the Apple Logo Appears.

If this doesn't work, check this site out.

Awesome - worked like a charm. This is my second iPod and between the two of them, I use it at least once a day and this is the first time something like this has ever happened.
