I wanna start using bluetooth NOW. First off, whats the range? Second, how do the USB adapters work? Do you need to have Bluetooth devices or can you use the USB Bluetooth adapters to make regular USB devices, like my printer and scanner, wireless? If I could cheaply make my scanner and printer wireless, that would totally kick ass!

you cannot hook up your exsisting USB devices. you need bluetooth device, which tthere are not a lot out there. Right now, I have Bluetooth Computer, Palm, Cell And headset. Theres not much more out there...

I think it would be great for things like scanners and printers, then you wouldn't have to try and find a place right next to your desk to put them, you could put them on the other side of the room, still plugged into wall AC, not running off batteries, but also without the need for USB cables running everywhere, and those usb extensions every 10 feet or whatever. Oh well.
