I have a G3 on a cable modem and I want to add an iBook to my network with a wireless card. I was thinking about getting a Wireless Router and then run the cable modem to the router, a wire to the G3 and then have a wireless network for the laptop.

Is this the way to go? Can I run both of the computer at the same time with this setup or is there something else needed?

Thanks

That'll do it! If you have an AirPort card in your iBook it should see the wireless router right away and be able to confiure it. Good luck, and enjoy!
