are there cases of firewire 800 that can take scsi

http://www.maxtor.com/en/products/sc...ifications.htm

If those 2 where combined That would be so slick. I am trying to find the fastest way for external. Using fire wire 800 and money is not a concern.

I have not heard of any real compat. with SCSI and ATA/IDE devices.
Firewire 800's pretty slick tho. Think we'll see Serial ATA in the new 970 Powermacs? That would be badass.....

serial ata is that faster. I forget. So firewire 800 inclosures are only for eide. They don't have any for scsi that way I can do firewire800 with 10k rpm with 8mb cache. How fast would that be. Dang that would be screaming. For external.
