My only concern would be with the battery life of a used/refurbished iPod. I seriously doubt that they are replacing the batteries on these units. But otherwise it's a good deal, especially as it comes with remote and case.

If battery life becomes an issue within the 1 yr warranty period...
im sure they would replace it.
Well..I'm not sure...but im guessing.

The refurbs come with the same warranty as the new iPods? If so, that does make it a bit better -- certainly more attractive than buying used.

This is a great deal, particularly for all the people who've been scouring Target stores for the 2nd gen. 10 gig models. Granted, it's not NEW, but with a one year warranty...
I'd jump on it if I hadn't bought a 3G model last night. I couldn't resist how tiny it was (even compared to my old 5 GB model)!

Yes, I think this is a good deal for those who want an iPod but just can't/don't want to fork out the bread for a new model.
I had always avoided Apple's refurbs as the warranty was susally 90 days and the discount wasn't enough the justfy the risk. This one, though, is a fair deal.
I just finished ordering one for myself. As boardsurfer said; "Get off the fence already and buy one!"

That would be 3rd Generation, not 3GB.

Haha. Yes, most definitely not 3 GB. I should've been even more vague and said "G3 model"!
