$33.99 each, in stock today. I ordered 2, and they'll ship today! (One for me, and one for the wife - or my backup!!!)

First Mac retailer that I've seen have them in stock online, since they first arrived.

I just ordered two from MacZone as well and paid extra for next day delivery. I just now received my confirmation e-mail and it says they are backordered even though it says they are in stock on the order page on their website! I'll be cancelling this order and hanging with my order from Apple since they at least give you an honest delivery estimate of 7-10 days. Especially without offering you next day delivery at an extra charge only to not be able to deliver as advertised! Grrrrr! Buyers just be aware.

Well, that's disappointing..... I'll have to call them tomorrow to check on this.

As far as Apple giving an "honest delivery estimate," when they say "7-10 days," that just means they aren't currently in stock, and don't have a definite shipping date, so keep that in mind as well.

Hope that we both get our iTrips soon!

I just got "confirmation e-mails" from MacZone about 2 orders I made, both of which are now listed as "backordered," although their website clearly said they were "in stock."

Yesterday, I ordered 2 of the Xtreme iPod car chargers, and they were still listed as "in stock" as of this afternoon - but mine aren't coming, since they're b/o now.

Same for the iTrips I ordered earlier today - their website had them listed as "coming 5/29" up until yesterday, and when I saw them listed as "in stock" on their website this afternoon, I quickly ordered 2 - but their e-mail tonight said "b/o."

This really ticks me off - if they don't have them, then say so!

Guess I'll just keep calling the Bloomington Apple store every day about availability of both of these.....

Well....I just spoke with a MacZone rep and they also did not have an idea of when these would ship. I cancelled my order and I'll just wait a few days as the Apple Store here is expecting more any time now. I made it a point to mention that the reason so many people will order is based on the incorrect information, "In Stock", is shown on the product page. Just got a nice apology and a quick cancellation. Good luck on yours too iBorg! Hard to believe these darn things are so hard to find!

Hey iBorg,

I did some looking around and called MacMall since they showed iTrips in stock on their website too. I spoke with a rep that was awesome and he confirmed that they did, for a fact, have them in and ready to ship today. It only showed 6 available on their site and I bought 2, so you might want to give them a call. The # is 1-800-622-6255 and the rep's name is Shawn at extension #4867. They also have next day delivery for about $15 which is what I opted for since I'm tired of waiting and looking all over the place for these.

Just wanted to let ya' know what I found!

Hey, TerryJ, thanks for the tip!

I've been scouring every available Mac reseller on a daily basis, and yesterday AM, all showed "b/o," except for MacZone, which was incorrect.

I checked MacMall's website, which listed them as "in stock - ship same day," and I called your rep, Shawn, but got voicemail as he was out. I called back, got a random rep, who told me they were on b/o - when I pointed out that their website said they were available, she told me it was wrong. Sooooo......I called back and got a different rep, who initially said the same thing, but did further checking for me, and found that several are in stock - I have 2 iTrips coming FedEx overnight! This rep was also excellent - his name is Forrest @ MacMall 800-622-6255, x 4722. BTW, their "FedEx overnight" is only $3 higher than UPS ground shipping.

Can't wait! Now, to cancel my order at MacZone......

I've still not received confirmation from Griffin on mine, and I pre-ordered, so much for that. I took a trip to the mountians two weeks ago, hoping to test it, while my wife was in the car doing the button pushing, y'know, for safety

Avialability has changed from "In Stock" to "Call". My order status reads as in warehouse. We'll see if I was one of the lucky six. I'll let you know.

You should get yours - I ordered after you, and I have a FedEx tracking number, showing that the package is en route, with confirmation from MacCall that (2) iTrips were "shipped complete." (I ordered by phone, rather than online, though, since I've had problems confirming that online order items were actually available - at other Mac retailers, that is.)

And you're right, MacMall's website now lists them as "call," so the stock they had earlier today has evidently sold out. Hope that we 3, posting here, are all lucky! Can't wait for it to get here tomorrow!!!

Hey guys!

Got my 2 iTrips from MacMall yesterday and they are awesome! I can't say enough about MM's service, speed and the rep's attention and handling! (And I do not work for them...just happy to report on great customer service when I find it!)
Anyway, I hope you guys got your iTrips too and are enjoying them! A little weird to get used to at first, but once you learn the flashing-LED-sequence-button-pushing thing to select channels, it's a piece o' cake!

Good for you! I got my 2 iTrips, also, and can't believe how well they work! Having EVERY FM radio frequency to choose from is the only workable solution for the iPod.

One thing I found, is that picking one vacant frequency over another sometimes makes a vast difference, so if your frequency choice doesn't come in clear, try another ... and another.

I couldn't be happier with the iTrip!

I have received mine. I am very happy with it. I was surprised by the size, I don't know why, I knew it was the width of the iPod, but I guess to me it seemed bigger in pictures. I am curious if you guys pulled out the firewire plug. Mine seemed to keep tilting the iTrip; easy enough to do at any rate.
