Hi, How can I print borderless 4x6 prints through iPhoto without installing ImageBrower from Canon?

You have to go to page setup in Iphoto an pick i950 & 4 x6 borderless for the paper size. Then when you go to Edit in Iphoto you have to turn constrain on either 4x6 postcard or 4x6 portrait. Then crop your photo. (You can uncrop and undo after printing.) Then tell the computer to print the photo. Make you choose standard prints and 4x6.

I had a hard time until someone explained this to me on this forum. Hope this helps. It does work and works very well.

You would pick your model of printer, not i950. I guess I thought you had a 950 from Canon for some reason.

Jdhindes,
Thanks for the tip. It worked beautifully although it requires an extra step (croping and constraint). What if I want to print the picture without any cropping? That is, without leaving out any part of an image. Thanks again for you help.

It can be done, but it required you to buy a new camera. Any of those camera with an APS size sensor will produce image that fit perfectly on a 4 x 6 print. The one I use is the Fujifilm S2.

You can go to dpreview.com and download full size image of the camera you're interested to see if it will fit.
