I've had my IntelliMouse Explorer for quite a long time, and while the mouse itself still works fine, the scroll wheel and wheel button have become worn, and it's come to a point where the wheel moves less easily, and with the extra pressure I have to apply, I end up clicking the wheel button by accident (I have the button set as a command-click, very handy for opening new tabs). The button sometimes sticks down when it's pressed, making it more annoying.

I was curious if there were any suggestions for getting the wheel to work better. There's no way I can see to take apart the mouse, or any other way of cleaning it (since the problem is probably that it's just dirty in there).
