I have a somewhat complicated problem syncing my data on my computer and my handspring visor. I have iSync installed, and everything has worked fine all year during school. This summer, I haven't used it much because I just work, so not much need for it. Recently, I demonstrated for my mother how to install Palm Desktop so she could do it on her mac at work, and I think it may have messed up my settings. In addition, this last weekend, I went on a fraternity retreat and put a bunch of upcoming dates on it. When I came home to sync it, my batteries were real low, and it died about half way through the sync, so the dates somehow made it into Palm Desktop's calendar, but not iCal (i never use Palm Desktop's calender, only iCal). When I put new batteries in my palm, it went screwy, and I had to do a hard reset which deleted all of my info on my handspring. I then synced it, and I got all my contacts and to do lists back, but not the calendar stuff from Palm Desktop. How can I get the dates just from Palm Desktop onto my handspring? Thanks

You might want to open up the HotSync Manager application and check your conduit settings. There, you can see where the Visor is getting it's calendar info from (iCal, Palm Desktop, etc), and adjust it accordingly for what you want.
Note: The Palm Desktop contacts and calendar/to-do conduits must be disabled in order for the iSync conduit to work.

I don't want anything from iSync or iCal right now. I want dates from Palm Desktop. I've disabled the iSync conduit from within Conduit Manager (should I move it to disabled conduit's folder?) and I've moved the Palm Desktop dates conduit from the disabled conduits to the enabled conduits. thanks
