I was overjoyed at the thought of turning my fairly useless brick into a handy iSync device when I received an update from Apple this morning I rushed to my software update control panel and proceded to download the bluetooth update. 20 minutes later I was not living the dream! The device is recognised as a phone now! and you can pair it for address book and data access, iSync even wakes it up just does won't add the device.

Can anyone help or do I have to wait for Apple to pull their finger out!

check out the posts in the software forum - or just turn off the firewall
