powerbook G4 400mhz
Bluetooth and iSyn update installed
Hawking H-BT10U USB bluetooth dongle
Nokia 3650 phone with the followign settings:

Bluetooth: On
My phone's Visibility: Shown to all

and with phone paired with the tibook.

First of all whenever i send a file the following msg ALWAYS comes up:

Bluetooth File Exchange
The target device claims it will not accept a file of the type you are trying to send. do you want to try to send it anyway?
Cancel----OK

When I hit OK, either the file is sent or I get one of the two following errors:

1.
Bluetooth File Exchange
The file transfer failed: unable to establish OBEX connection with device.

(this freezes OS X until a min or so later when the BT app quits)

2.
Bluetooth File Exchange
The file transfer failed:Unable to open file

(I get this one most frequently)

Anyone have any idea what is going on here?
Is it the bluetooth adapter or just bad 3650 support from apple?

Thanks,

M2

What version of OSX are you running? If 10.2.6, try running the combo updater as this has been known to fix some problems.

Delete the phone pairing and re-pair. See if that helps.

Alsom post your message over in the Mac section at http://www.nokia3650.net/forum as someone may be able to help there. PM me there (paul) if you need help. I'm a mod. there.

Edit: just tried it...although things feel snappier, it didn't fix the problem
