How is using the iPod while working out?
Can you also recommend the best case for the 15gig iPod so I don't get it messed up while working out?

Thanks.

I've bee very happy with it. I made up a playlist of songs I like for the gym and set it to shuffle. I have the original 5 Gig iPod with a neoprene case. If I have the gym to myself, I play it through the gym stereo with the iTrip.

I just wear a nice baggy hooded sweatshirt when I work out, and stick the ipod in it. American Eagle sweatshirts have a little pouch inside the pocket that fits the iPod PERFECTLY.

Working out listening to the crap they play (Stevie Wonder) just doesn't get the job done for me. Gotta have the Slipknot ;-)

My 5 GB iPod in its Marware Neoprene suit works great! I just wish it were a lot lighter and thinner, like the newer 15 GB model. My Rio used to feel like a post-it-note compared to the iPod.

Nevertheless, the iPod works great while I'm using the weights, treadmill, or elliptical machine. I haven't had it skip on me once!

Thanks for the recommendation, but are there any good cases available already?

This is actually the one I have (older model) and I love it, but I always felt the marware is a better workout model due to the accessories. If you're like me, you probably do many different things ie: run, ski, weight training, bike, etc, and the marware has plenty of accessories to suit your needs at any given time. Anyways I just workout with the Super Dooper and they have new models of the case shipping now according to their website. They are a little pricy, but they're great. Good luck.

My case from Xtrememac.com is very nice. The belt clip works very well for hooking onto my pants when i go running, or just for general workout. Sadly it does not work so well underwater. So much for my swimming working.
