Interesting review but mostly for the compariosn between the battery sizes. That's on page 3.

It is quite a difference, isn't it. Part of me wishes they kept the old battery size, since that would presumably have let them get about double the old battery life, instead of less.

I am glad it is smaller, how many times will I run into needing 8 hours in a row?

So far ZERO and I have had the new ipod since day one and use it every day.

Ooops sorry. I should've searched.

How much difference in time does it make now? I've heard people complain but haven't heard any numbers.

I think it's only a couple of of hours less, and still longer than most would need at one stretch, but it's kind of too bad that the new models would be worse than the old ones in any way.

you sacrifice little time for a much smaller battery. overall you win.

I'm not really complaining, but you'll have to admit that it's too bad the new model has worse battery life than the old, and it seems to have gotten Apple some bad press, because just about every review seems to make a big deal out of it.
