Is there a way to import my palm contacts into the address book program? It didn't work automatically like I expected, and I'd like to just ditch the palm entirely since I always forget to keep it with me. I'm on my computer about 90% of the time that I recieve a new contact/appointment/etc, so I can just use Address book or iCal or whatever so it shouldn't be a big deal with losing phone numbers or appointements by not having my palm with me.

Plus I got an iPod for my birthday (which is cool, and by cool I mean totally sweet) and I can carry that around instead of my palm (though its a bit thicker, its shorter than my handspring visor edge, but it has fewer games )

basically I'm trying to ditch the palm except for playing games in church or boring meetings and whatnot. can't wait till apple open ipod up to independent developers (if they ever do) That would be great.

I believe you can export your contacts as vCards from Palm Desktop. Then, these can be easily imported into Address Book (File:Import:vCards). iSync will keep your iPod up-to-date.
