I have to get one on this list, Im thinking it'll be a firewire one... any suggestions? I dont know a thing aobut em....

I use the iBot Pro. Firewire cam (there is also USB 2.0 version). Works great under OSX. I highly recommend it.

Stay away from USB - Firewire is the way to go - from what I have used and seen out on the market. Although they are still rather expensive down here in Australia.
