Not sure which forum to put this in, so if this is in the incorrect forum, please move it to the correct area of macnn.

My question is this. I commute by bike with my ibook. I would like to use my XM radio SkyFi unit to listen to the radio while I bike. I have the setup all figured out, but the SkyFi uses a magnetic mount antenna. How far away from my computer does the magnet need to be to be safe? Will a 5-6 inch buffer be enough, or do I need several feet? I once used some non-sheilded speakers next to my powerbook & it caused my hard drive to corrupt. I want to avoide a similar situation here. Thanks for any help you can offer.
