Does anyone own either the 19" or 22" model?

I've read that aperture grille crt's, both diamondtron and trinitron, have two visible wires that run across the upper 1/3 and bottom 2/3 of the display.

I'm unable to see one of these displays in person prior to purchase. What is the reality of how those wires effect your viewing? Are they always visible? Is it like a blatant line across whatever image you are editing, or is it faint and almost never visible?

Just trying to get an idea.

Thanks.

Hi, I have the 19"...you can see the lines...but I rarely notice them...they are less than the thickness of a hair...

So, yes you can see them, but I only notice them if I'm looking for them...

Not sure if that helps too much, but for me, it's a great monitor...Very pleasing to the eyes...

Yep, they're definitely ther. And they'll bug the crap out of you.
For like 5 minutes. Then you'll get over it, cuz they're such awesome monitors. Don't sweat it.
