Whenever I try to transfer a file (a small jpg) to my Nokia 3650 via Bluetooth from my Quicksilver 2002, I get a "The last operation failed: bad request" error message, and the transfer fails. I have restarted both the phone and the computer to no avail. What do I need to do to get file transfer to work?

Thanks in advance for any tips.

Have you tried re-pairing the two with Bluetooth Setup Assistant? Make sure you QS knows the 3650 is a phone.

Are you using Bluetooth file exchange?
Ensure you can pair your phone with the PowerMac before you transfwer the JPEG file.

hi and thanks for the responses. i am using a d-link usb bluetooth adaptor, bought at the local apple store. the phone and the mac are paired, and iSync syncing of contacts proceeds without a hitch, images and all. also, i am using bluetooth file exchange.

i will try to repair the devices tonight and see if that helps.
