Well.... if you take a look at the apple store site, you'll see the Apple Pro-Keyboard and Pro-Mouse are no longer available. Only the "Apple Keyboard" and "Apple Mouse" which were introduced with the latest eMac. These are CHEEEEESEY to say the least. Could replacements or PRO versions be just around the corner?

Let's hope there is a new metallic version or something. I don't particularly care if it is wireless or not (and I might actually prefer wired) but I think it would be cool to have a keyboard and mouse that better match the pro line.

There is a thing that appears in Panther DP when the system is used in french (maybe other languages) but not english. Look at the mouse and keyboard preference panel :

Didn't Steve make a passing comment about using a two-button mouse in the presentation he made at the WWDC (something to do with Expose or something - I don't remember)? Makes sense to have a standard and pro version with the differences in machines that Apple have at present.

This whole thing bugs me, I really like the Apple Pro Keyboard and really hate the Apple keyboard listed on the Apple Store. One thing I noticed, if you go to the tech specs of the G5 you'll see the Apple Pro Keyboard and Apple Pro Mouse listed there. As has been mentioned here, the store lists the non pro version. I hate were they put the usb ports on the keyboard. I'll be making a point to keep my current keyboard unless they change that.
Yeah, Steve did mention the two button mouse and it was with Expose'. We'll see I guess.

I hope they don't go to a wireless-only keyboard. I'm not a fan of having to replace batteries every few months. And the Logitech ones at work have been unreliable at best.
I'm using a white Apple Pro Keyboard at work and while it's ok, it's still no Apple Extended Keyboard II. Use that on my beige and home and it's wonderful...
