Please IM me at chet@mac.com to test out our iSight equipment.

My brother has yet to pick up his camera. (It appears both users must have a video camera for any video comferencing to take place.) I have used audio chat regularly sinche iChat AV's release, but now have my iSight and want to try video chatting.

Anyone interested, especially fellow iSight users, feel free to try contacting me anytime.

Thanks to SolidAge for being my first iChat AV video-enabled chat using two iSights connected to each of our PowerBook G4 12-inch computers.

The quality of the iSight camera mixed with iChat AV makes for the best video conferencing I have ever experienced first hand.

I will be available late tonight, actually Saturday morning, from about 2 or 3am to about 6am EST and them again on Saturday afternoon about 2pm-6pm EST for any others who want to test.

Actually, you can do a one-way video conference with someone. Just highlight their name in your Buddy List and then go to the Buddies menu and choose 'One-Way Video Chat' (or something like that)...

I just got an iSight camera tonight but haven't been able to do a 2-way video chat yet.

If anybody wants to test it out, send me an IM at gritjones@mac.com. I'll probably be up for a while tonight playing with this new toy.

I, too, just got an iSight this past weekend, but have yet to test it out with iChatAV.

If any fellow iSight users would like to try videoconferencing with me, I'll be on later this afternoon, and during the day most of this week:

My AIM screen name

Later!
