Has anyone had any experience/luck with non-Bluetooth Ericsson phones under OSX? I'm wondering specifically about the T306. I've got a USB adapter for just about all models of Ericsson phones that works alright with a PC but I'm not sure about my Mac. I've had no trouble with my T68i using Bluetooth to sync up my contacts and calandar. My brother has been looking at the T306 to plug into his iBook. Does iSync even recognize it or is the list on Apple's iSync site the only finite list of compatible phones?

Also as an aside, how do I upload MIDI files to my T68i to use them as ringtones? Whenever I try via the BT File Transfer it gets an error and won't send.

To my knowledge the T68i doesn't do MIDI files. Its ringtones are in the iMelody format (.imy). From here:

What is the iMelody ringtones format?

iMelody was developed by the irDa association (infrared communications) as a standard file format for melodies. It has also been adopted as the ringtone format by the 4 companies developing the Enhanced Message Service (EMS), a smart messaging standard.

iMelody is a feature-rich melody format, featuring volume modifiers which can be used to vary the actual volume throughout a melody, special codes to flash a phone's backlight, LED or make it vibrate and other advanced features.

iMelody is used in some recent phones by Ericsson, Alcatel, Motorola and Siemens. As of summer 2001, a growing number of phones from these companies are expected to be able to receive ringtones over the air through an EMS message in the iMelody format.
