I have a 3 year old CDRW drive in one of my old windows PCs that I would like to use as an external drive for my Mac. Would any compatibility issues arise? Also, does anyone have any suggestions for firewire or USB enclosures?

check www.xlr8yourmac.com

they actually have a good database with compatibility reports. my guess would be that buying a 52x LaCie from the applestore for $149 is the easiest way to go...
