the Canon LiDE 30 USB Scanner, is it any good? On apple's site it says it needs PS7 to work w/ the driver in OSX...

will PS Elements 2 work as well, or Vuescan?

Don't know about Vuescan but the scanner works well with PS Elements 2. A good scanner for the price.

Driver installation is a bit cumbersome (search this forum, see how to delete the "extra" button manager program). But the scanner is great, small, bus powered and reasonably fast, great specs for the price. Check out the LIDE 20 if you want less or the new LIDE 50 if you want more!
