Epson borderless printing...finally?

According to the MacNN front page today:
Epson has updated its printer drivers for Mac OS X. The latest version offers borderless printing and minimum margin printing. Further details were not available.
The only printer that I could find that was updated was the Stylus Photo 820.
Where are the other printer driver updates? I've been VERY patiently waiting for the release of an updated Stylus Photo 780 driver (v1.0 for almost two years now) to support borderless printing, ColorLife paper, etc. I am strongly considering going to a Canon printer if I don't see an update soon.
Anyone with any inside info? Is Epson getting their act together, or should I finally abondon ship?

I have been trying to download the Photo 820 update for two days using Safari but it fails to find the server. Has anyone else had luck?

It seems that the 820 driver is new, but nothing else yet. I've been waiting for borderless printing for my 890 for so long. How hard can it be to update a few drivers?!

I too have the epson 890, and the last driver they updated was back in december of 2002! They should update them all at once not post them one at a time. It is becoming a pain in the @$$, to have to keep waiting for these drivers.

I can't get Print Center to recognize the printer now. Only my 1160 shows up. Weak but when it does work border-less printing will be nice.
