I recently joined a buying program: I basically got in line to buy a brand new 23" cinema display for $250. The more people to join this line, the quicker we all can get this display for this great price. I am very conservative and never do things like this, but after considerable background checking, this turned out to be a totally legitamite thing. It's kind of a simple concept and the only sacrifice is that it takes longer to buy this way than it would to buy it directly off Apple's website. That said, the items are bought brand new from Apple and include any warantees that come with any new purchase.
