Does Music Match Jukebox or any other windows software allow you to make smart playlists for the iPod? I have no plans to us an iPod with windows, but I'm curious. Smart playlists are one of my favorite features of itunes, and to be able to use them on the iPod makes it so much more useful than the average MP3 player.
And the fact that the new iPods allow the playlists to be updated while on the iPod (not only when you sync with the computer) makes them even better. For example, I have a lot of old-time radio shows that I like to listen to, but many times they are only labeled with a date, and I don't have the time to add descriptive labels to hundreds of files. I've made a smart playlist for each show that includes 25 shows that I have never heard (playcount is 0). The playlist on the ipod automatically updates once I listen to one so I don't have to worry about finding which ones I've heard and which I haven't, and when I sync with my computer, it automatically replaces the ones I listened to with fresh ones. It's great!
If windows users are just using the iPod like other MP3 players it seems like they are missing half the fun.
