Turn off display mirroring? If you have the monitors menu item in your menubar, there is an option right there to do so. Of course this is assuming that your video card supports dual monitors.

It may be that your model of video card only supports one monitor. It has two connectors, but you can only use one monitor. You can get another video card that supports dual-head monitors.

GeForce2MX SHOULD support Dual-Display.

Go to Preferences > Display and take a screenshot of the window then show it here.

It doesn't support dual-display. I always had to use my Rage 128 for the second monitor. I got mine off ebay for $75 2 years ago so I'm sure you could get one for a lot cheaper these days.

So true.

I have a Geforce2MX - with "TwinView" which allows me to run a dual headed setup. I am pretty sure the basic MX does not support this feature. However, if you buy a 2nd video card you will be able to have a second monitor. In addition to my MXwTV I have a raedeon 7500 installed in my Quicksilver Dual 800. Currently my setup is 2 first generation 15" LCD studio displays (the ones with the telescoping screens), and a Dull 17" LCD display.
