I'm looking around for a new phone that has a way to really easily input calendar items and contacts. I like my T68i, but it sucks for calendar purposes because I only ever need to input calendar items when I'm away from my computer. So I went to the ATT store the other day and the guy recommended I look into the Palm Tungsten W. I can just take the SIM card out of my t68i and put it in the palm and it's a palm with a built-in phone.

The tungsten is the best option I see right now, but it has a couple of annoying flaws. The first is that the only way to use the cell-phone functionality is to use a handsfree earpiece. I don't like using those and I lose them with shocking consistency.

The next issue is that when I was looking for the Tungsten W on the Palm website I stumbled across the Tungsten C. The C trades the cell-phone feature for built-in Wi-Fi, a feature that couldn't conceivably be more useless to me. It also trades the W's 33 MHz processor for a 400 MHz processor. It seems to me that this would indicate that the W is not long for this world in its current form because its hardware is so wack compared to the later model in the line.

So my question is this: Is a newer Tungsten W just around the corner, or is there any other cell-phone-equipped palm out there that has a more up-to-date feature set?

Also, they sell a Samsung Pocket PC phone that I could also potentially get, but I am unsure of weather this can be used with the Mac. Anyone know anything about this?
