Is it worth digging out the old m100?

I bought an m100 about 3 years ago and stopped using it after a few months. After moving to OS X I never really looked at the Palm again since it took such a long time for Palm Desktop to come to OS X. It also never really worked well because I never bought a USB adapter for it, I actually sold the serial cable that came with it (dumb idea) and used infrared syncing which never worked well. I never got infrared to work in OS X, just kernel panics, so I gave up.
Now what I want to know is if its even worth it to dig up my old Palm, buy a USB cable AND serial cable (since I need both) which will cost me about $20 on ebay, and start using it with iSync. I am a big fan of the OS X address book and I have been using iSync regularly ever since the ability was added to sync Safari bookmarks over .Mac. However iCal is still too slow to use but I plan on having a new Mac in a few months so iCal will be more usable. I don't really have much money to throw around right now, especially since I want to buy a new Mac soon so I really don't want to buy a new Palm or PocketPC (ugh). So I want to know if people think its worth it to try and use the old Palm.

I dunno- if you have lived without it for 3 years, are you really going to use it? If you can live without a gadget- I'd do it. Keep your life uncomplicated.
But if you really think you have a need, $20 isn't bad.

Paco is bitter about the loss of his .mac webpage. Image will return when his sadness lessens.

Or you can send it to me?
I will be happy to take it off your hands for the price of shipping...

The problem is that ever since I stopped using my Palm I have been much less organized with my time and I often forget important events and tasks.

I have an iPod but it is broken. It will play and charge but no computer will connect to it. I would sell it except that it has all of my contacts on it and I don't feel to comfortable giving that out.

I am just topping this thread to publicly thank iSwitched2 for being extremely awesome in sending me his Palm cable for free. I'm not home this week but my mom told me yesterday that he sent me both the serial cable and the USB adapter, some extra styluses and a cool blue faceplace. I tried to get his email address to at least pay for the postage ahead of time yet he didn't respond and just sent it! The guy is awesome. Thanks a bunch.
