I know that printing wirelessly is slower than printing with the printer attached to the computer, but how about the actual print quality?
Is it the same as being connected to the usb port or is there a degredation in quality?

Id think its exactly the same.

the printer should just buffer the data till it has enough to print
I free'd my mind... now it won't come back.

Why would there be any difference? It's the same data being transferred.

You are making some invalid assumptions about the way wireless printing works. It doesn't matter if there is a wire or not, the computer and the printer speak the same language. When you talk to someone in English on a wired telephone, or a wireless telephone, the information stays the same.

And wireless printing is likely to be no slower than USB printing, as both interfaces run at about the same speed.

Bad comparison. A Telephone is analog and the quality of what you say can drop significantly. Same goes for Cellphones that are even digital as they get lots of interference and drops.

But in the end, wireless printing will look the same.

Im my experience, there have been times where it's taken longer to print the document out, but the quality remains just as good as if the printer were connected via a cable.

I know, but it was the best I could think of. Even though the quality of the sound is not always good, though, the message usually comes across quite clear. Try to think of the message, not the actual sound.

Well that's kind of dumb -- your comparison works against what you are trying to argue. If the print quality was bad you could presumably still read the "message".

But in any case, I can't think of any reason why quality would be any different.

OK. I give. The analogy was dumb. Bottom line, the printouts will look the same.
