I am able to print borderless 4x6s using iPhoto with Canon i950 by using the "constrain" and "crop" method. However, I can't do the same with 8X10s. I am using the Canon Pro Photo papers. I guess I could use the software supplied by Canon, but would want to stick with iPhoto. Any suggestions? Thanks.

First, go into page setup and choose 8x10 Borderless (or something like that). Second, crop your photo accordingly. Third, in the print dialogue, choose full page (NOT 8x10).

I'm not at my Mac now, so I can't check, but I believe this is the correct way to do it.

I think you have to print from photoshop or something like it to draw up the Canon print software.

The Canon is newer then iPhoto so the drivers might not be there.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

Thanks JLFanboy. I followed your instruction but still get white borders on the margins. Severed Hand of Skywalker, since I am able to print borderless in 4x6, I'd assume the driver should also support 8x10, no? I've downloaded all the necessary drivers from the Canon site. Thanks for the quick responses.

Okay, so I'm on my TiBook. Now, I actually had to create a custom paper size in Page Setup to do 8x10's. Did you do that?

Oh, there's no problem with doing Canon from iPhoto. The Canon drivers are actually some of the best I've seen. I've never had to do something like print from Photoshop.

Thanks again JLFanboy, how do I set the attributes for the custom page size setup? Do I just plug in 8x10? Much appreciated.
