I'm very happy with my JBL Creature set of speakers. However, I've noticed that while listenning to some heavy-bass music at a relatively high volume ,the woofer "rattles".

This distortion is not that noticeable, it is only heard if I pay close attention to the sound coming from the woofer. My main concern is: might this mean that the woofer is blown? Or is this normal at high volumes?
I'm only worried cause I think my iMac internal speakers got blown because of the high volume. Is there a volume limit to those things?

What do you think?

(One of the songs in which the distortion is heard is Die Another Day, by Madonna. System's volume is set to middle, iTunes is near the maximum volume and the Creatures are pushed to the maximum volume; EQ is all off.)
