My brother is the landlord of an apartment building. My brother would like to setup a Mac at the building as a webcam surveillance system for the purpose of being able to track what's going on in the halls, driveway, basement, stairs to the attic, garbage area, and possibly side street. I would say about 6 camera's in all. I would appreciate any leads on how to do it. Also, what is the software we need to create such a multiple webcam surveillance system?

I've been meaning to do this just for the fun of it. I'm also very interested in any solutions. (Wireless cams with an Airport?)

You can use this to take a picture when it sees movement and upload it to a website:

Worked for me.

SecuritySpy 1.0 seem to be what you're looking for.

I haven't tried it yet though.
