I have two Apple Pro Mice (white and black) and I received a new white mouse from PCConnection yesterday. The difference between the new one and the older two is that the bottom is an opaque piece of white plastic (not transparent like on the other two). Also the wording has changed. Its no longer printed beneath the Apple logo as being a "Pro Mouse." It now simply says "Mouse." Does this mean a brand new Pro Mouse soon from Apple? I think so.

Hopefully there is a new pro mouse out. For the last year info has been leaking from Apple on the development of a "real" mouse (2 button) and a new keyboard. Hopefully wireless/wired. It appears they will continue to offer the standard wired one for educational customers who don't want the mouse running away.

Hehe for once I think your comments might be justified

If there is one old, never ending story in the world of Apple Computer, it is that there will be a new multi-button mouse coming out.

I will not use apple mice until they get with the program.
