I have a question for those who have used Televio with video games, PS2, Gamecube, whatever the case...

I like to capture video of certain games into Quicktime movies, as I share clips with friends. For example, I like to create short clips of EQOA for PS2.. however, my current method of capture makes it VERY difficult to actually capture videos of what I want. I use the old XLR8 USB interview device, and.. well, it has its limitations. For example: Upon hitting the "record" button to begin input of video, the frame rate of the video signal goes from real time, to about literally 1 frame per second. It makes it extremely challenging to record any Quicktime video directly into the device.. - Thats the nature of my question, for those of you who have played video games via the Televio card, are you able to capture video while keeping the frame rate up?
