A 10GB iPod sells for $400CDN, 15GB iPOD $550, and 30GB iPod $700(All educational prices)
this means to go from 10GB to 15GB u pay $150 more, and 15GB to 30GB for $150 also.

I think the base 10GB is big enough for me, but the charging dock, case, and remote are not included. If I were to pay for those accessories individually, I might as well get a 15GB which includes those acces. but now that I've got the 15GB in mind, I realize if i pay another $150, I get TWICE the storage...

APPLE is smart at doing that....

I never really understood why Apple went with the 15GB, when 20GB would have fit in better. I wonder what the price difference really is for the parts.

Anyways I hear yeah on the 10-15GB models, if you want the dock andstuff, it's stupid not to go with the 15.

Maybe it was the size/form factor?

because the extra $100 for the 15 over the 10 is paying for all of the extra accessories and 50% more space, while the $100 for the 30 is buying you just double the space, so it seems pretty smart to me

I'd get the 10gb, my music is currently ~3gb and I have no need for the dock, remote, or ugly case. I'll get an ipod when the next gen comes out, I'm in no hurry...

I chose the 15Gb because you get all accessories, 5Gb more space all in the same size as the 10Gb. Obviously the 30Gb is thicker and since one of the reasons I sold my original 5Gb (with remote) was that the new 15Gb was smaller the size and extra cost of the 30 put me off.
