I've found a used 20GB 2 months old at 300euro,
do you think it's better buy the new 15GB at 400euro?

I like better the 2G design but I don't know what's better in the new 3G version, for sure I know it's smaller but with shorter battery..

what would you do?

answer fast! I have to reply to the guy!

20GB 2G. You like the design better. It has more space. You will always be thankful for more space down the track.

You save 100 euro's. Spend it on something else cool. Buy a game or software for your Mac. Or some more music.

The 3G has backlit buttons - but the 2G has buttons that you can always 'feel', even in the dark with no problems. Both models have a backlit screen.

The 3G has some crappy games. Big whoop.
But good things the 3G has is on-the-go playlists and the dock.

Do you want the dock? If so, 3G it is. If you don't mind, go the 2G; unless on-the-go playlists mean heaps to you.

Now class, to wrap up:

What would you prefer:

100 euro's in your poket
The design you like better
5GB more space

or

On-the-go playlists
Dock
Games.

Sounds to me like 2G is best for you.

2nd gen. 20gig all the way. I just played with my (now girlfriend's) 2nd gen. 10gig last night and wow, I forgot how much I like that design! Plus it's got more space...it's not about the latest and greatest, it's just about what makes more sense.

Well I don't care about the dock (my desk is just too full) and I don't care about playlist ..
I decided for the 20GB 2nd G model,
actually I think it's very cheap for what I get, the origianl price was around 600 euro and I have a car charger for free

the only thing I don't like much is that the 20gb model is the fattest iPod ever!!
