Can anyone recommend a good webcam? I'm mostly interesting in pointing the camera outside, taking pictures every few seconds, making time-lapse videos, etc...

USB or firewire.

Suggestions?

Thanks!

From the reading I've done, people are having a hard time doing still image captures with the iSight.

EvoCam works great with iSight. It does all kinds of stuff, like taking scheduled pics, motion sensor, etc. Check it out.

Also, you can expect only more and more apps that will support the iSight. I'm looking forward to what will be coming for the iSight.
