Ok I have a serious PDA issue going on here. I'm debating between two PDA's (please check out the link/s):
The Sony color PDA at bestbuy for $179....it's the tiny form one.
The Palm m515 for $144 from Overstock.
Which one would you recommend, and why? thanks!

Probably the Sony, since it has a hi-res screen. The m515's screen is blah...

well i cant see any links
but i had a simalar problem last year
and i went with the sony over a m515
mostly because of the screen resolution
but my only problem with it is the memory sticks
for some reason everywhere around here stocks only 64mb ones or higher
all i want is a 16mb stick
and i can find ones that fit in the m515 no problem at 16mb
but im still happy i got the sony instead, the scroll wheel kicks ass, its great for reading eBooks, and anything thing else that needs scrolling
i dont know if its the same sony, but mine is the SJ20, i had an SL10 with normal batteries, and in a week went throught 4 aaa batteries, the rechargable battery is nicer to have
and even though on the box there is no mention of apple compatability its there, there is stuff missing like memory stick mounting and some others, but i can sync my email, addresses, datebook, pictures, and set the time fine

What about a Linux based Sharp Zaurus? I am purchasing one to replace my Visor. I have been researching for a month now and I believe that the Zaurus allows for flexibility as far as upgrading and it has a ton of open source software available. Plus it supports Apache, PHP, MySql and offers the Opera browser as well as web development apps. Why wait for Apple when you can have a portable handheld computer instead of just a PDA.
But if you just need a PDA then maybe the ones that come in the cell phones or an iPod might be a better choice.
Just my 2 I mean 5 cents.
I just wanted to give you another perspective.

I was in the same predicament last year, and finally made the trip to Comp USA in Little Rock and looked at several side by side. There was no doubt for me the Sony SJ30 (now SJ33) had the best-looking screen. Prior research had also pointed for the need for a program from Mark Space called Missing Sync. http://www.markspace.com/
I have been well pleased with the Sony and recommend it.
