Okay I got my iPod like a month ago, it's a 10GB one. Now today when I had it in my dock it said "Do not disconnect" so I didn't. I checked all my apps and none of them recognized a connected iPod, so I disconnected it, which brought the iPod to the "charged" screen, even though nothing was connected to it. The screen wouldn't change, so I pressed Play and Menu to reset it, now it's stuck at the Apple Sign, but I can hear the HD inside spinning. What do I do!?

Okay, I pushed Play and Menu again, this time the reset was successful, but I still have a problem, iTunes won't recognize the iPod and neither will iSync, but the iPod icon still shows on the Desktop whenever I connect it. This is starting to get annoying.

i'd take whatever files that are on there off (if they won't be replaced by iTunes/iSync) and then reformat it. It's annoying to have to do, but it does work.
