moving to different phone?

	How does one move (SIM, phone memory considerations, etc.) from one GSM phone to another, without risking dupes, problems, etc.? Which way do you copy/leave blank? I copied contacts from my SIM to my phone, and a lot of names are truncated. Now what wil happen with iSync? should I delete them off the phone first, then copy to the SIM (thereby losing the SIM positions for quick dialling)? Then use iSync? help?
