When we want to compare antenna gain to an absolute level, we use

dBi = 10·log((base)10)(G)

The correct pronunciation of this is dBi, or decibels relative to isotropic.

Screw the antennas for that price you can buy another basestation - if you get one with network bridging, you can extend your net by essentially re-broadcasting it.
