I have a samsung 191t flat screen. I left my computer on for several weeks without a screen saver, and now I have a few places where the icons have burned into the screen a little. It's only noticeable when the background is an even, dark color. but i dont like it.

is there any way to fix this? i had heard that by turning off my monitor for a week or two, it would go away. but then i cant use my computer for that long, which is frustrating. any other solutions?

thanks.

LCD displays don't permanently burn-in like CRTs do. Here are Apple's instructions for removing persistent images from LCDs.
