I recently swapped out the DVD drive in my Quicksliver G4 with a Panasonic DVR-105. The drive seems to be working correctly (DVD's play, CD-R/RW burn properly etc). When I ran Software Update I saw that a Firmware Update is available for the drive. However, when I looked at the release notes, it seems that the update is for a DVR-103 or a DVR-104. It doesn't say anything about a DVR-105.

Has anyone installed the update? Did it work properly?
