I was thinking about adding a Sonnet Tempo ATA 133 card to my powermac to speed up my harddrives data transfer, but I was wondering if after adding this card, can I still leave my internal cd burner attached to the IDE ports on the mainboard and connect four hard drives or other IDE devices on the Tempo card? A long time ago I was told you can only have up four IDE deivces in a computer whether it was via a pci card or the mainboard IDE ports, but that was when I was using Windows machines. I have a Powermac Digital Audio that has been upgraded with a Powerlogix Dual G4 867.
Thanks!

Not true, I have a Tempo ATA 133 in my Quicksilver which is connected to two WD drives as master there are no slaves, plus the master and slave drive connected to the Apple ATA/66 and the Zip and Superdrive are on the other Apple internal ATA/33.

So yes you can have all those connected.
